This pack of Christmas Cards are produced by the Benevolent Fund and feature beautiful illustration of the Wrought Iron Gate at the Walled Garden, Mount Anville School painted by artist Helena Paran (Past Pupil 2020). Each pack contains 5 cards and 5 envelopes.

Christmas Scene
This Christmas Scene is one that many of us remember from our school days. The Text in the inside says - Wishing you Peace and Joy at Christmas.
The image is of The wrought iron side gate of the walled garden was a gift to William Dargan from the RDS in recognition of his work as President of the RDS and for his staging of the Great Exhibition in Merrion Square in 1853, currently the site of the National Gallery of Ireland.
The gates were made by Turner Hammersmith Works Dublin and are the work of Richard Turner, designer of the Palm House at Kew Gardens (London) and the Curvilinear Range at the Botanic Gardens (Dublin)
William Dargan’s statue can be seen outside the NGI on Merrion Square. The ‘Dargan Wing’ is named after him.
